This was the fifth day of Tomorrowland Winter 2026
MORTEN & Malaa’s new track released live, powerful female energy lighting up the mountains, an unforgettable moment for MAESIC, and a series of thrilling surprises enhancing the day

A daring live reveal for MORTEN x Malaa’s new track
During their unforgettable b2b performance on the Mainstage, Danish DJ MORTEN and renowned Pardon My French member Malaa stunned the crowd by releasing their brand-new track live. Moments after they dropped it, ‘Shock The System’ was officially available across all streaming platforms, turning its release into a moment to be remembered.

Female power
Female forces Henri Bergmann and Layla Benitez took over the Cage, teaming up for a dynamic back-to-back set, delivering a flawless two‑hour journey through house and techno that kept the energy high. Miss Monique played Mainstage on Wednesday after a great Frozen Lotus set on Tuesday. After the secret set at Reflection of Love, the closing of the MainStage, Charlotte de Witte played at ORBYZ. She is for sure taking over the mountains in Alpe d'Huez.
A magical milestone in MAESIC’s rising story
Performing at Tomorrowland for the very first time, MAESIC set the tone for the night ahead with a thrilling opening set in the magnificent greenhouse setting of the Mainstage. The artist behind the viral hit ‘Life Is Simple’ seamlessly blended tech house, EDM, Afro house, and melodic techno. The momentum continued with outstanding performances from French house DJ Dombresky, Ukrainian sensation Miss Monique, and tropical house legend Lost Frequencies, before finishing on a high note with Swedish House Mafia member Steve Angello delivering a powerful Mainstage closing set.

A day filled with surprises
On this fifth day, the People of Tomorrow were treated to a series of thrilling surprises in the heart of Alpe d’Huez. Guided by the Alpe d’Huez Trail Association, 100 participants kicked off their day with a challenging morning run leading them all the way to the Orbyz stage. Dutch bass house DJ Merow then kept the crowd moving with an outstanding surprise set at La Cabane à Sucre. Later in the day, 30 talented children aged 7 to 14 from the DJ Academy took over the decks at Palais des Sports, delivering a remarkable hour-and-a-half performance. And to top it all off, the day’s final surprise came in the form of Steve Aoki’s high‑energy set in the unique and intimate setting of the Boulanger de l’Alpe.
A moment of deep reconnection in the festival’s high‑energy atmosphere
Festivalgoers seeking a moment of calm, could recharge and reconnect in the peaceful atmosphere of the Recharge Hub. Nestled beside the ski lift leading to the Frozen Lotus stage, this welcoming yurt offers two self-care experiences: a guided meditation journey enhanced by light therapy, gentle soundscapes, and grounding scents, or an uplifting session combining yoga movements with deep breathwork. These one‑hour immersive experiences are available daily until Friday, between 09:00 and 15:00, providing the perfect reset amid the magic of the mountains.
