This was the first day of Tomorrowland Winter 2026

The first outstanding performances at the Cage, CORE, Reflection of Love,
Frozen Lotus and the brand-new Orbyz stage unveiled

Saturday, March 21, 2026 – The first day of Tomorrowland Winter has set the tone for an unparalleled week filled with world‑class electronic music. A magical day full of highlights and special moments, here’s a glance at what the People of Tomorrow got to enjoy throughout the opening day and night.

Marking the start of this sixth edition, the breathtaking ski resort ‘Espace Alpe d’Huez’ welcomed the very first People of Tomorrow. The first day was already a mesmerizing mix of electronic music, mountains, and adventure, promising unforgettable moments in the alpine setting. While the People of Tomorrow got settled into their lodging in the charming village of Alpe d’Huez and its surroundings, they could already enjoy the very first performances across several iconic stages, including the Cage, CORE, Reflection of Love, and Frozen Lotus. Throughout the day, exceptional artists such as Dyzen, French producer Michael Canitrot, House Delivery Record founder Tony Romera, electro house DJ Laidback Luke b2b Belgian star Yves V, and many more delivered electrifying sets, setting the pace for the week ahead.

The spectacular Orbyz stage unveiled

A major highlight of this first day was the unveiling of the magnificent Orbyz stage at an altitude of 2,100 meters. Where the mythical Amare once used to land, the Snow Lion and his icy realm are now more than ready to host the finest artists of the electronic scene. The French phenomenon Charles B delivered a stunning performance, reinventing some of the most famous classical music pieces with a futuristic techno twist. Lucas & Steve fused melody, energy, and friendship with the best of future house in the mountain heights. Dutch artists Maddix and Hi-Lo joined forces for an exceptional back-to-back set to close the Orbyz stage on a high note.

The Cage experience magnified by the Floating Sky

After making its debut at the last Belgian edition, the Floating Sky traveled to the French Alps to captivate festivalgoers through sounds, movements, and lights at the Cage. The kinetic marvel elevated today’s high-energy performances delivered by Amsterdam DJ NOME., future bounce artist Mike Williams, brother duo Matisse & Sadko, and Laidback Luke, transforming the experience into an unparalleled immersive journey.

The original version of CORE returned to Tomorrowland Winter

The original CORE stage made its grand return to the heart of Alpe d’Huez. Its immense mineral silhouette already transported festivalgoers into a multisensory journey through captivating lights and dynamic visuals, setting the tone for an unforgettable experience. The stage came alive with performances by Belgian producer Semsei, CORE Radio Show host Dinno Lenny, and an outstanding back-to-back set from Agoria and Notre Dame.

A winter adventure like nowhere else

More than an electronic music festival, Tomorrowland Winter offers an immersive alpine experience like no other. Between sets, festivalgoers could savor delicious food experiences in the cozy atmosphere of the mountain restaurants or enjoy a more casual bite at one of the many food stands and 50 restaurants and bars throughout Alpe d’Huez – the perfect way to recharge amidst the beautiful mountains. Starting tomorrow, the visitors will also be able to enjoy various thrilling activities to make the most of their stay, including electric mountain bike rides, paragliding flights, snowshoeing, mountain kart, dogsled rides, guided meditations, and many more!
